Botanical ceramics workshop, March
If you fancy having some fun with clay and an incredibly relaxing morning then this could be right up your alley!
Time 11.30am Thursday the 26th of March
In the comfort of my home with no more than four people. We’ll sit in front of the fire whilst I show you how to work the clay in preparation for hand building (this bit is very stress relieving), I’ll then demonstrate two techniques: a pinch plate and one where I use everyday objects as a mould.
I’ll show you how to press a pattern into the clay using bits and pieces from my garden.
You then get to have a go at making some pieces and getting really creative.
*Please note that I will finish your pieces for you as they need to be fired first before they can be stained and glazed for a final go in the kiln. You can expect your pieces back in around 2 weeks.
Tea/coffee and cake are provided.
This is a lovely beginners workshop for anyone wishing to just have a go.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Workshops are down Chapel Road in Flitwick.
Please make sure you can attend first as I don’t offer refunds on courses.
