Floral styling and phone photography workshop at Howbury Farm Flowers.
Intensive day class 10am-3pm 6th of August 2020 at the walled garden of Howbury Farm Flowers in Renhold just outside of Bedford.
Do you ever look at images on Pinterest or Instagram that are just so well put together you wish you could create something similar, yet when it comes to it you just have a jumbled mess of flowers?
I hear you!
Now would you like to learn how to develop your own floral style so you can put together beautiful arrangements, tablescapes and flat lays for your portfolio and create stunning images all on your mobile phone?
No fancy camera, no desktop, just the thing you always have to hand!
You would?... Fabulous!
I will be hosting workshops at the most amazing cut flower farm, Howbury Farm Flowers.
Start with a tour of their walled cutting garden and start snapping all the wonderful colours and textures that you are naturally drawn to.
I’ll then show you how you can develop your own floral style by learning about your perfect colour palette, textures and how we can control the mood of our images whilst telling a story.
We’ll look at the camera on your phone and I’ll show you how to use the Lightroom app to edit your photos.
You will then get to put your new skills into action, choose and cut flowers from the garden and then create vignettes of work ready to take photographs of.
I’ll be on hand to guide you every step of the way, from styling your flowers for photography to showing you the best angles and how to work with the light. It is going to be a highly creative day where you get to explore your personality as a florist.
You will need a camera phone and be able to install the Lightroom app.
Suitable for florists, flower growers and flower lovers.
